Entry for contest.Earlier sketch was done with my old tablet before it spoiled. Coloured with my new tablet.
I CANT BELIEVE THAT THE FUR IS TOO SOLIDDDDD &!@*&!^@*&^!#&!*

I read some comments on this page, and the one about the stars caught my attention. I must say that you don't have to worry about them not being visible, because the light from the moon is fading them out. If we take a big city at night as an example. The city is almost always very lightened up, which makes the stars hard to see, so I guess it's not a very big deal if you have stars or not. Of course they would give the painting a nice touch, but I really like it anyway. Nicely done! Love the realistic fur

Woah ramza, this is dam freakin nice. I especially LOVE the moon. And the expression shows the emotion of the picture very well. The only thing is that the rest of the sky is too bland. The moon can be seen very clearly, which should mean that there are no clouds, but still cant see the stars. So, the only way to improve it is to add stars or clouds. Other than that its excellent.

Its not too solid, in full screen view it is actually really nice. I really like it, and the look on the wolfs face is amazingly done... its nice how you can give it that expression and make it look natural on it.

Not overly bloody. Well done! Nice work with the fur and background. Brilliant work all around.
I'll just say this for the record. It must have been very interesting circumstances in the back story of this piece because my character is usually not bloody. But the viewers can use their imaginations for that I'm sure.

I like the fur this way! Of course, if you look at my fur style its super solid too... BUT I can see why you would like your softer fur more ^__^ It adds a lot. But I think this is amazing all the same, it has a very serious feel to it with this style. That background is AMAZING. I would give anything to be able to make a background like this. The moon really adds a lot, without drawing away from the main subject.

yah, i wanted to draw the fur like i did on my ice wolf picture =X
but i still nid to get used with my new tablet, as the feel is quite different from my old one.
and for the background, u sure will be able to do it, once u know where to put those lightnings

the ambience of the background, reminds me of a album cover of iron maiden.

when u mentioned iron maiden, i went to google and look at the pictures. And i can't believe that i saw a picture which scares me when i was young =X
because, when i stay at my cousin's house long time ago...this picture [link] was hung up as a poster in my cousin's room and i hardly able to sleep at all D:

the album was in 1992, so i never born in that year and i never saw that picture until 2007, and is the best picture what i saw in my life 
and is sarcastic, 'cos in the 12 songs what the album have, only two are sinisters and the other 10 are like Hard rock and really melodic
