But I have a problem, there is a mold spreading across the mud will have to re-install the herb it in a different pot with bottom-drinking enabled.

yes ^^ i think its a problem of over-watering the pot has to have a drainage hole, i used to have miniature roses and the lady who works for us over watered them and i saw mould on the soil u have to catch it quick, for mine it was too late
