If you need help with the gun, to make a fairly decent looking pistol, treat the gun as two rectangles. The first goes above the hand and will be the part that moves with recoil. The second is the grip and is tilted and goes below the thumb. then comes the trigger and the lower part below the first rectangle but in front of the grip. once you have that, you apply perspective to the whole thing and later add it to the rest of the sketch.

That dragon certainly looks like he can gun! I do love the pose and the facial details here, and the lighting and colors add perfectly to the atmosphere. I can almost hear the Bond theme.

The colours are great though, there is a subdued urgency or like there is some kind of danger just round the corner. The reds and the blues work really well with one another to make that feeling.
The gun's a bit of a pain to draw but then the dragon could always have a very sharp celery or something.

Yeah, I agree, it is a bit high. It was the first gun I've drawn in... quite a few years xD
well uh LOL I had a picture of a Glock 21 opened but now it's just an unnamed pistol because I was too lazy to look at the ref too often
