a more recent painting...You see a diver who discovered a mysterious egg, deep under the sea... Half shocked and half obsessed with his discovery,
he mo longer cares what is happening.
is it fear or madness in his eyes? or both?

some info on the WIP
i made a helmet base in 3DS max, then painted on top in Photoshop, the texture work, lighting and details is painted in PS, Face is painted too.
Work time was about 4 days, dont remember how many H.
3D base saved time tho.

The antique diving helmet has always been one of my favorite pieces of lost tech.

The detail is amazing, I love how whatever that comes out of the egg lashes out at him. I'm gonna have to go with fear, madness and fascination in his eyes, although I believe fear to be more dominant.

This looks like an actual photo! When I look at this, I can hear the sounds of the scene in my mind, like the glass crackling and the whooshing bubbles behind the diver.
Whatever that creature is, hope it doesn't try to eat the guy!
