some info on the WIP
i made a helmet base in 3DS max, then painted on top in Photoshop, the texture work, lighting and details is painted in PS, Face is painted too.
Work time was about 4 days, dont remember how many H.
3D base saved time tho.

This is absolutely beautiful. I love the expression on his face, as well as the impending danger that (I feel) is implied by the crack in his helmet. Gorgeous work.
I also want to know what's in the egg. It looks almost like a cuddlefish. I'd be fascinated by a cuddlefish...
