Description
This image was done completely in Open Canvas.I am a big fan of Studio Giblis work, i thing this image reflect it.
BTW, i made some animated tutorial vids where you can see the complete process of some images. If you want to see how i paint, then simply take a look.
I will do more if i see interest. Please show it to friends and spread word.
Thank you!

I can see the Studio Giblis influence. The thing in the water had the face of the Cat Bus from My Neighbor Totoro.

Very creative, I could tell the Ghibli Influence right away, the furry guys look like a mixture of "My Neighbor Totoro" and "Princess Mononoke." I especially like the lilypad hat you gave the girl. It's nice to see that there are still people who can do stuff like this on Canvas and not just in photoshop. How long you been painting? (just curious, as I've only recently ventured into Oils).

Yeah, it shows. Even before I read your description I thought it looked kind of like Miyazaki work, except for lighting. His colors/images are kind of soft looking. Very nice!

I thought at first that this was some kind of a Totoro pic. The dog kinda seems like Totoro. Nice pic tough. Love the water and the expressions. ^^ I think I'll fave this one.
