THIS is awesome! It is full of drama and menace. It tells a story with flair and eloquence! I had to fav it. You have a lot of praise for this but you deserve every kind word. Some pieces just stand out from all the rest and this is one of them!

Really like this. I agree with the others, they should really make this into a game. It looks amazing.

dam, this makes me lust for a mission based game like this, where half the mechanics is reviving the dead, summoning dark undead spirits from other realms, and comanding them durring the mission, and the other half is physically joining the battle. and the whole concept of the game is going from village to village, town to town, city to city, location to location, and castle too castle, invading, ransacking, and between missions allocating experience points and gold to either upgrade yourself or your undead. untill you have conquered the world (or at least continent). with each mission having objectives like "take this city" "defend this outpost" and "retrieve this mcguffin"
something with a 3rd person perspective thats fairly close without being over the shoulder view.
something where your either a villain, bent on ruleing the world, or you just seem like a villain, an antihero with a verry significant villinous appearance.

The symbols makes you wonder if the skeletons are willingly doing the mancer's bidding, which they do not. It is more like slave-master relationship in the end. But you can see skeletons taking pleasure in butchering people, doing master's bidding, so, i am not sure how the minions feel about their situation. Do they enjoy getting blown to pieces by a fireball while the summoner dude sits at the back, makes you wonder.Β

This looks amazing. I especially love how the symbol and writing on the skulls of the minions matches that of the necromancer's tattoos: small things that give a beautiful piece depth.

The level of detail and the lighting is mind blowing. This looks like a screenshot from a new game!

I absolutely love this image. Have you ever considered revisiting the concept and doing a follow up?

Took me a while to realize it wasn't a game. Keep up the good work!

this is what I imagine when I think necromancer, but this is a low scale one
strong on their own but most of their strength is in their army

I mistook this for being a piece of art from fable but no it's not in any video game yet? What would be a good name for a necromancer?

Stunning detail, i agree with a previous comment about how this necro took time to raise each skeleton with tattoos and writing. And amazing scenery, you dont see many dark magic people in a sunny environment

This is soo cool! The angle and view gives it an almost... gamey-feeling, as if this is how games will look in the future. Or something. Excellent work
