I still might work on the image some more sometimes...
As you have noticed, his arms are rather bulky, this is how i picture him. IMO someone who barely uses his legs, swings around like a monkey needs strong arm, makes him look a bit mature too...
The pants are very high, those are suit pants. Originally he also had a bow tie around his neck but that made him look like a wuss...
I will have to come up with something else

That is true. You are a lot older than I am (17) so your depiction relates to you more than how I depict spidey. Happens all the time even with figures of the same age. I would probably depict Mr. incredible from Pixar to be a happier fatherly type guy when you would depict him as the darker, crime fighting, angrier side of him.

The torso feels like it should be longer, as well as the face- in the chin area. The brushwork is nice, especially on the pans.

Showing more of the legs would probably force that into the viewers mind, resolve the perceived lengths. I just noticed the red-green shift you added around Venom- Very nice.

I disagree about the face, the chin looks small because the eyes are big, that's just how the mask really is.

Let me put my comment in context, when I originally made my comment the version of the artwork you see now, was not the version I commented on. It was a less refined, less detail version.

I've always been wondering. You have some crazily rendered stuff on your website. Are they a photoshop/3d hybrid? Because your painted stuff ain't as rendered. This is just a quick fun thing I'm sure but I was just wondering.

just because it looks rendered or has straight lines doesn't mean your a good artist. Most rendering is done by inkers and if you're an inker who doesn't then you're just a lazy one and the credit also goes to colorist. And no this picture isn't that great but really boring. Its simple work and that most find this interesting shows the blind eye many real comic book artists get.

Besides people finding that drawing of females are interesting which isn't with most poor art by people who barely pratice...they are just drawings and have been done in comic books repeated number of times.
