"i don't really get it taru, sure their nice and soft but not exactly something you'd wear as shoes, much less all the time" Hana spoke with her heel on the curb out of the slipper.
"w-well it's more a habit of mine now, see mom wouldn't let us wear anything with hard soles as they were a potential choking hazard, now, they just kinda stuck to me" Tarumi explained as he held his android's sneakers in his hand.
"guh, seriously!? man your life sucks" hana replied sliding her foot into the slipper.

It could be worse. At least soft-soled footwear is cheaper to replace than regular footwear. And we all know a few other bois that really lose their harder-soled footwear a lot. XD
