Description I took about three dozen pictures of this little tractor, but I ended up going with the very first one, lol. Figures.

You took a very good picture of one of the very best tractors ever made.

Haha! I'm not a tractor aficionado, but thanks for the comment! It was a fun tractor to photograph

Yeah, notes indeed. It's fantastic. I might have to rework my editing process a little. Nice job!

haha, I told your dad the tractor would make a good picture and he laughed at me. ^_^ Thanks for the favourite!

My mom wanted to take a tun of pictures of it too.
Anyway, Dad only has one eye so it might not be his fault.

Is your mom a good photographer? I imagine she has a pretty good eye.

She's alright. She see's lots of good opportunities but things like lighting dont really enter in as a factor.

I love your sense of color. I don't know how much post-processing you do, but even with Photoshop and a lot of time and tutorials on hand, I can never get the right color balance. All of your pictures are perfectly balanced in saturation. a;lksdg -jealous-

Thanks! I don't use photoshop, I have MS Office Picture Manager. ^_^ In order of process, I reduce saturation, increase the hue and amount, then increase contrast and tweak the brightness and midtones. I like the vintage look, and it works particularly well with blue skies. The fact that the tractor is red, and the grass is yellow only helps XP

lol, I thought you might, so I didn't post the exact numbers (it's fairly regular, though each picture is obviously slightly different). Art is formulaic, after all! XD

I also like the visual effect of darkened corners. I'm not sure which step accomplishes this, but it only happens naturally on a few pictures. It makes me happy. ^o^
