Description A little bit of 19th Century Graffiti... granted it's not that old, and the pic isn't very "arty", but I thought I'd submit it because it's one of the coolest things in my village that hardly anyone knows about

It's located on the wall of what was to be a support for a bridge across the river Trent. When the war came along (first world war, I guess), they put up a temporary bailey bridge instead (Quick assembly bridge... basically metal plates all attached to each other with bolts) - Anyway, since then the bridge has been repaired umpteen times, but a replacement was never introduced (Apart from a replacement bailey style bridge)

I guess it's kinda become part of the history of my village.

(I'm rambling about some bridge, and totally ignoring the photo... heehee)

I think even then, "ohhhhhh!" would have sufficed

Thanks for the comments, and giving me something to distract me at work
