Description
I thought I'd try something new with my video camera...This time, I just let it record, and I whacked it on a tripod, and panned up the side of the wall
It obviously required some perspective and brightness/contrast editing in photoshop, but that's all I did...
Not the best of things to photo, but I thought something simple like this would be a good place to start
What do you reckon?

Perhaps that same sort of idea on a tall slender tree would look cool?
Nice effect tho, I like the panned out look in the picture, one main focal point but you get to see more then you'd normally get to, it's nice indeed.

Woo! Thank you, I was expecting that to be a bad comment... The more I keep looking at it, the worse it appears to get
I'll have something better on in the next couple of days, in a similar style... I was thinking about climbing a tree, and doing something looking out. and panning.
Cheers for the comment dude

You captured the right perspective.
Suggestions:
- Have the pipe vertically alligned with the frame.
- Remove the black container, move the clay pot to the left and have it centered under the pipe. You know, make it look neater at the bottom.
- Another good idea is to put the camera right on the pipe and capture the perspective from there.
I hope these ideas help
And thanks for the comment on my latest photo, I really appriciate it!
Keep it up...

I was trying to get it vertically aligned in the first place, I just forgot to check it... and then got lazy and couldn't be arsed to cart my video camera back downstairs.
Anyway, good ideas on the centre-ing of the pot, and I'll have to try putting the cam at to bottom of it...
there's an awesome tree up the fields where I live. I'll try it on that, looks pretty awesome looking up it. It's more like a big oak-type fluffy tree (it's an acorn tree or something), so it might not be as effective as a tree with no crap near the bottom... like a palm tree or something
Cheers for the comment!
