Happy New Year!Created this image a couple of weeks back whilst reminiscing about Classic Tomb Raider. It was inspired by Fashion Photographer Peter Lindbergh photo for American Vogue 1991 of the 90's Supermodels.
My image serves as a homage to what I loved about the 90's, Classic Lara herself and her evolution as well as the supermodels themselves, even down to the grainy filter, old classic memories.

The image is a homage to classic Lara rather than the new survivor Lara that Camilla portrays that's why she's not included. Nothing against her but this was about Classic Lara and all her iterations in general.

classic Lara has always been from when she was on the top of her game.

Agree to disagree. Lara started her adventure in TR4: The Last Revelation when she went on her first expedition with her mentor, Werner Von Croy at the age of 16.
"Girl next door". That's the thing. Lara was never a girl-next-door but the reboot wanted Lara to be one. Also, in there she started her first adventure to Yamatai at the age of 21 if I'm not mistaken.
The reboot is it's own thing, nothing to do with the classics.

Don't sweat it
Even if you don't play it, you should read her original bio(Original timeline/Core Design). It's quite interesting and very unique. She acted on her own behalf, followed her passion but was disowned by her parents for doing so and left her financially broken. How did she get the money and mansion? Well, she inherited the Croft Manor from her aunt, she wrote traveling books and sold them to fund many of her expeditions, talk about independent. That's why many of the classics fans look up to her and adore her very much.
