I really like this design, possibly my one of my top three Ive seen for a movie version of his suit. Only thing is, how would that fit into a ring, I mean does the armor kind of bend or something to do it, or he just not store it in the ring like in the comics?

Since every fiber of his body is affected by speed, the upgraded suit should be a combination of nanotechnology (nanites) and a specialized, unstable, kinetic material in the form of a ring. Once activated, it starts manifesting around Barry to form the suit.
e.g. the Black Panther Suit from the film.

I like the armored look of it, and I imagine the dark red bits are made of the same scaly material as the Man of Steel costume.

That's what I was going for too! Either that or some kind of stretchy carbon fiber type texture
