Marcus is really special to me in so many ways... He's the OC that cheers me up when I'm down and makes me smile, with his corny jokes and optimistic nature. If you haven't gathered, he's 13 and four and three quarters of an inch tall. But what sets Marcus so far apart from the other tinies in my stories is his attitude to living with his condition, Cure AB Positive Shrignakemia. He's not shy, or intimidated by 'normal sized people', and prefers others to be honest about how they feel about him. He doesn't get ashamed when people override him as a hallucination, but he's pretty sensitive about being called 'tiny', or 'handicapped'. Marcus doesn't believe he needs to be looked after 24/7, and constantly invents hang glider machines and other contraptions to get around. His bravery in tackling a regular high school is basically what drives me to get through every tough school day in one piece. So yeah- he's my favourite

Interesting Facts About Marcus:

1. He works at a Doll's shop with his friend Kyle, who is blind.

2. His father works in Tokyo, and is always bringing him gadgets to help tackle his many challenges (for example, he has a special set of earphones that he can wear whilst listening to a regular sized iPod. They basically make the music much softer for his hypersensitive ears.)

3. He calls himself a 'real life midget'.

4. His favourite bands are Imagine Dragons and Boy and Bear

5. He is an expert in free running and parkour stunts, and his lighter weight allows him to perform much more daring maneuvers.

6. He gets really tired really easily, so his family are not permitted to wake him up until after 10am on weekends

7. At school, he uses his iPod to do his work.

8. He has an uncle-nephew connection with his Dr, Jack, who stuck with him throughout his entire shrinking episode when he was only 5.

9. He likes burgers, especially the ones his friend Kevin's mum makes.

10. His brother Cameron calls him 'big brother' because he finds it funny that Marcus is older yet physically smaller than him.
