I AM EXCITED FOR THE NEW TMNT !!! AND FOR A BLACK APRIL !!
I got so excited that I doodled some ideas <333 I wanted to keep the iconic yellow so obvi vans <3

I like your concept for a Black April better than Nickelodeon's. Because your's looks like one of those smart, fun, and even-tempered girls. Nickelodeon's black April in my opinion is a racist stereotype. She has a ghetto accent and is hotheaded. The thing I always liked about April's character, whether she Hispanic, Irish American, or Black was that she was smart and rational. I don't like the Idea of making her so violent, and making her black while doing that makes me wonder if Nickelodeon had Micheal Bay as a consultant instead of Kevin Eastman.

I am also so excited for a new April to be released next year ! I've always thought of why not bringing back April from the mirage comics and re-draw a newer version of her? She is awesome . It's one of the reasons why I'm into TMNT and it's because of April as an example, (Tmnt2003!) . When she's in a relationship with one of the turtles (tmnt2012) my excitement for her gets destroyed easily :/ .
