A brooding silence hung in the air...occasionally disturbed by a low murmur of voices among the ranks, the fear that was in them mirroring what you felt inside.
Things was...different this morning.
The Chieftain's speech has left you and your fellow warriors raging with blood-pumping ecstasy at the thought of the coming battle.

The enemy...

...you have heard of them.

They were well-trained, professional, rich in numbers and resources. Many stood against them, and failed.
But you. They have not faced you...they will learn to fear you and dread the day they stepped forth to face you.

That is the thoughts that were racing through your head as you marched towards the battlefield.

But now, those thoughts was all forgotten.

The warrior beside you -just this morning he was the first to raise his voice in a battlecry before the Chieftain even finished talking.
Yet now, he was silent...he seemed to be -trembling.
You would spit on him, if you did not feel the same fear, paralyzing your body, and everyone else that was facing the massive Beast stepping forth from among the ranks of the red wearing soldiers, that seemed like mice beside the Beast's clawed paws, its wings spread apart above them, covering them as an Eagle would protect its young.

But that face...those eyes...the corners of the mouth that seemed to be set in a grimace somehow ensured you...

...no quarter would be given.

Aaaand here is a gift to another one of my epic friends, Shedimi !

This is his Dragon oc George -or Georgius(www.deviantart.com/shedimi/art… ) that was raised by Romans. Here he is among an amassing Legion, giving the enemy a glimpse of how their day will end...sucks to be them tbh.
