This weekend the family and I took a trip to my wife's friend's house in north eastern Arizona. We took a trip to the mountains to get away and so I could get some photography in. I think this was taken in the White Mountains, not really sure what mountains it was though. It was breath taking, almost litterly because of the elevation.Tecnical Info:

I am positive it was not Flagstaff, I was in Springerville which is in the north east part of the state. And it was the White Mountains, here's the official City of Springerville link [link]

It would be south east from Flagstaff but not from Phoenix where I live. Here's how to get there from Flag incase you wanna visit

Awesome shot! Love that gold, especially with the clouds...I went up to Flagstaff & Snow Bowl last weekend to take some shots of the leaves like that, but most were already gone, I think I was late by 2 weeks

Ohh you should have been there! The leaf canopy was so thick that the ambient light that shone through was a golden yellow. It was a great trip
