Sorry for the late response, I don't really go onto DA that much anymore.
Anyway, about the models itself. While I'd like to go ahead and re-upload them, there's two issues regarding that:
A) I don't think I'm allowed to do so, since they're not my models and according to the "read me" file attached, I specifically can't redistribute it. While I'd respect that rule in other circumstances, this situation makes it hard to determine if I'd still follow them. On the one hand, I don't have the authors permission to do so (since I don't even have an option to ask to begin with). Yet, on the other hand, it's pretty unfair for the author to vanish and for me to not do anything about it.
B) I don't even know how I could upload it. This includes how to post it without someone going "omg you're a model thief" and getting a notification from DA that I'm being reported for stealing others work (I saw it occur on another MMD'ers list of downloads, even after he specifically said who originally made it. So, you can guess that the DA report system is a bit foolish).
I can try researching and asking about to see what I can do, since I'd very much like to make the models available for the public. For me, I definitely recall how much of a hassle it was to find a Vergil model until I accidentally bumped into the model pack.
