Description "Whoa, what is that?"

Chocolate turned around from her day dreaming, to meet her friend Dinorah. She grinned at her.

" Nice to see you too. How've you been? What have you been up to?" She bit out in good humored sarcasm. Dinorah flinched, scratching her head as she shrugged.

" Okay then. Let's try this again...    Hi Chocolate! What've you been up to?"

" I've been great, Dini, how are-"

" Whoa! What is that!?" Chocolate sighed. Dinorah was always the type to cut to the chase. She stared at the direction her friend pointed, to find it led to the end of the leash she was currently holding.

" Oh! You mean Gino?"

" That adorable little thing is your pet? How come you never told me?" Dinorah immediately went to pet Gino, squabbling baby talk at the creature. It lunged with sharp teeth at her and she squealed, putting some distance between her and the bunny Chocolate was currently restraining.

"…That's why." Chocolate knelt down to give him a small bump on the head. "Bad Gino! Bad!" The ferocious little creature reverted back to its adorable state and whimpered.

"What is that thing!?" Dinorah cried, cradling the hand that she almost lost. Chocolate stood up and put a hand on her hip.

"Dinorah, I present to you, the plot bunny."

"Gino doesn't look like a normal bunny."

"That's because he's a plot bunny. They're ferocious little creatures that are attracted to authors and story writers." Gino growled slightly to prove it.

"Then why would you have one as a pet?" Dinorah asked, more relaxed now that she realized that the bunny was too restrained to attack her again.

"'Because every author needs a plot bunny. Otherwise it'd be really hard to write stories." Chocolate explained, as if it were obvious. "They reproduce a lot though, which is why we had to get Gino fixed." Gino scowled at the thought.

"Oh…. "Dinorah blinked, but then it turned into a smile. " Hey! If I get a plot bunny, he or she can be playmates with Gino!!" Chocolate paled at the thought.

"No!! Plot bunnies are tricky little buggers. Controlling one is hard enough, but if two get together….  I can't imagine the mayhem they'll cause around town." Gino snickered at the thought.

"Are they that bad?" Dinorah crouched to get a good look at Gino, unaffected by his growls. He yelped however, when he got a slap to the rear.

"No Gino." She turned back to Dinorah. "Yeah, they're pretty devious. Gino gives me some good ideas though, so I can't complain… sometimes."

"Y'know… maybe being an author isn't all it's cracked up to be." Gino grinned mischievously, showing a large file of sharp teeth.
