Day 026: "I need a Hero!"

Okay, gonna be real here, I've never played a Dragon Quest game before. All I know is it was designed by Akira Toriyama and it's a JRPG. With this in mind, I'd like to hand the mic to our special guest today, Mr.BloatedBeard.

"While I couldn't be called the biggest fan of the series out there, I've always loved the rustic charm of the Dragon Quest series. The gameplay is as basic as JRPGs get but the fun comes from the stories and characters. Between that and Akira Toriyama's artstyle its always been something that's super appealing to me and I would recommend it to anyone else as well.

With the news of DQ12 moving away from turn based combat, I'm cautiously optimistic about the future of the series as long as it holds true to the fun stories and characters - if 11 and 11:S were anything to go by, we're in a great place right now so let's hope it continues.

Now Hero came with some alternate skins, based on 3 other characters from Dragon Quest. So Homer used this chance to invite his friends Chira, Robert, and Prima to our little Halloween Party.
