Description I live? Idk I just wanted to do something and Zee-Stitch ’s contest caught my eye. All I do on here is read comics anyway so, might as well have a little fun in it.

Name:
Briarpaw

Sex:
Female

Clan:
ShadowClan? Really any clan would be ok, but idk I never really had shadowclan cats before.

COD:
Fell from a tree, then crushed by a tree limb.

Personality:
Quite reserved and quiet most times, she only ever speaks when she feels her input is needed. She can come off as creepy from her wide-eyed stare, which only intensifies when she rarely speaks or emotes. When she speaks her voice is loud for such a quiet cat, and her spoken thoughts and opinions are quite intense for a small seemingly innocent apprentice. She likes prey to an unsettling level, often dissecting it or viscerally tearing it to shreds in emotional outbursts, as she likes to take out her anger on inferior species or the earth itself.

Backstory:
She never knew her mother, as she died soon after she was born, but she only heard vague things of her. Her father, Scorchwhisker, immediately distanced himself from her and her siblings, Beetlekit and Buzzardkit. The only cat who cared for her and her siblings was another queen, who seemingly had no time for them after her own kits were born. The only thing she had were her siblings, who tried to stay together. When apprenticeship came, Briarpaw was assigned to Scorchwhisker, in their leader’s attempt to reconnect him with his family. Briarpaw became very frustrated with her father, who sent her off to do things on her own, never really acknowledging her or actively trying to train her. What’s worse was he didn’t even address her by her name, calling her Ratpaw for seemingly no reason. It never helped that the siblings who were once a crutch to keep her positive were busy with their own training. Though she learned next to nothing from her father, she seemed to learn a lot from her dreams, meeting cats who showed her how to catch prey and fight. She always found much enjoyment her prey, often getting carried away by ripping it apart during her meals or trying to vent her frustrations during the catch, as well as offering pieces of her shredded hunt to kits, much to many queens dismay. Her father would never let her go easy when finding out she ruined a potential meal however, scolding her until the crows came home. However, she was soon bored of the daily dissecting of her prey, as she’d seen it all. She wanted something different, and recently a queen had birthed a stillborn. When the kit had been buried, she tracked the gravesite, and dug it up, carefully bringing it to a new location to be examined. Needless to say, she was extremely excited, the adrenaline to tearing apart a cat was new to her, and she wanted more. Kits of all ages were going missing in the clan, and soon, even a young apprentice. The clan was terrified of cats being lead to their death, and warned the other clans at the gathering of the danger. It was one early morning that Briarpaw and her siblings were being prepared for their warrior assessment, that Scorchwhisker was muttering to the other mentors about being stuck with her forever because she doesn’t treat anything with respect. How he’s begged for her to be reassigned to another warrior crazy enough to take her. How he hates to be associated with the creepy she-cat. How he would never dare to call her something as undeserving as her, "Briarpaw," when he called her "Ratkit" for a reason. Something snapped in Briarpaw that day as she heard that, but confronting him there was out of the question. All the emotional stress she took out in the hunt was going to be targeted towards someone else today. When she had managed to catch her first kill during the assessment, she started to rip it apart, knowing her father couldn’t resist the chance to reveal himself and scold her. When he took the bait, she leaped at him, taking the older tom by surprise. She didn’t want to just kill him however, she wanted to do what she had done her whole life by ripping creatures to shreds, this time slowly and painfully. As Briarpaw began tearing his flesh, restraining him with tooth and claw, her siblings and their mentors arrived upon hearing the commotion of their screaming clanmate. When the began to chase Briarpaw to stop her, she ran, but it was only a matter of time before she would be stopped. Without thinking it through, she climbed a tree hastily, spotting a tree limb where a squirrel was perched. Although the limb could support the weight of squirrel, it could not support a fully grown cat, thus the limb fractured and caused panicked Briarpaw to fall a long way, a falling tree limb crushing her as she hit the ground. Ever since, she’s been wandering the dark forest with a tree growing from her fractured spine.
