Hello everyone once more. This time I brought to you something more different, a revamp or upgrade of a set which is something I've been doing to some of the sets that I decided to keep for a much longer time. Unfortunately, all my revamped sets are now part of my collection of parts for MOCs and this one is the only one that I didn't disassembled, yet, since I got him only a week ago.

Now as you can see, it's one of the Beasts sets from the HF IFB series, obviously Splitter Beast, and honestly I didn't did much to him, or them, since I personally liked the original set, I liked the look of it and the overall simple, yet effective built. But there was something missing to it, I felt like I couldn't really call this creature a beast or Kaiju since it didn't looked that menacing even with the claws, so I decided to upgrade it. Now as I said, I didn't did much, just made the feet longer, since I prefer there more triple jointed legs with these sort of creatures, added some spikes, gave them tongues which is something I really wanted to do since the mouths were so empty and there was enough room for a tongue and it also gives them a more organic look, and also gave him wings.
Now, the reason for why I did that was because wings are awesome, and also because of a mistake I did long ago. That mistake being that, when the first images of the first wave of the HF sets surfaced and when I saw the footage of Splitter Beast, those limbs on its back, which are the arms of the infant Jaw Beast, to me looked like a failed attempt for wings, kinda like Flyer Beast, and that was the idea I had until the a few minutes later when I looked closer and saw they weren't wings at all. But still I had the idea of Splitter Beast to have wings and be something more of a bigger threat with all those claws and spikes and the two heads. So, I thought that when I will get that set, I will revamp it and give it wings. And speaking of those, as you can see they are custom made since I didn't had any full wing pieces to just add there ( since those that I had were used for Gorodarh ) and this was also an opportunity to experiment with some new designs and try something new and of my own ( and this do fold, which makes them superior to those dragon wings the Lego always give us ).

So this is Splitter Beast, hope you all enjoy it !
