I like the fierce look in his eye. The detil onhis clothes are also astunding. You would like to see this in color. That's up to you. Anyways this is a great piece and one of my favorite RPG series out there.

No problem! Baten Kaitos's style is really hard to draw! I've been trying fo a while, but can't seem to draw them right... but I can draw the characters pretty well in my own style, so that makes up for it!

You should draw the characters in your own style then. I can't even try to mimic the way Kalas was drawn by the official concept artist.

FIRST POST! personally I love it. No really I do. Don't poke fun, really. It is excellent line art clean and has a great composition. The way you arranged it in the image is perfect really enhances the fierce motion his pose displays. And also the fact that its kalas makes it even cooler. Colored???
