I don't mean to bother you, but have you met this guy? He's tall with brown eyes and a kind smile; and we've had the most meaningful conversations. He holds my hand when I'm upset and he never tells me lies. He never tells me that everything will be okay because he doesn't really know if it will be or not. I call that honesty. He has a beautiful soul that most people can't seem to see, but I do. He's my best friend, my shoulder to lean on, my shelter from life's storm; and he always understands just what I'm going through. When I feel sad he cheers me up and he makes time to help me feel better. We know things about each other that no one else would understand the same way we do. We're like kids in a candy store laughing and smiling; and we're also like deer in the headlights, afraid of what's coming, but still looking at it full on. We've got each other's backs and we know what counts in life. We've been through ups and downs together and still come out strong. I know I can cry in front of him and he'll dry my tears. He's amazing when it comes to advice and comfort, and he's so very truthful. He makes me feel trusted and cared for, and like I have a place here; and, one day, a place somewhere big, an important place. He's willing to stay up late at night, and he says he thinks of me often. He's protective of me, but still lets me be free. He has a wonderful personality, and has had his own fair share of hardships so he's able to understand easily the problems of others. He is a thrill seeker, a hard worker, a compassionate person, a good spirited guy, and a true friend.
