Lemme get this straight...a novice thought it's be funny to drench Altair because the running joke is Altair is afraid of water; Alty find out, drenches the novice himself and leaves him hanging over a leap of faith ledge.

That's pretty much it. I also like to draw, so you could just see it as a piece of artwork if you wanted.
N.B. I've called it 'Insolvent' because if Altair is indeed water-soluble, then water is a solvent. The novice ends up in the solvent, hence 'in solvent'.

I think you might be seeing double. The black line that slants from left to right across the middle of the page is supposed to be the edge of the frame. In the first panel, there's one novice on the roof behind the hide-spot (holding a bucket of water), and Altair's hand (he's about to climb up). The second panel contains only Altair's feet and the same novice (hanging from the viewpoint).
I think I'll take from this that the panels of a comic need to be further apart or more clearly defined. Thank you for your questions - They will help me improve.
