Description
You notice it immediately.
That speck in the sky, no, rather, a flaming ember. Perhaps someone threw a branch on a fire, sending the deadly fireflies skyward?
But this ember is different...instead of fizziling out ine the crisp night air, it grows larger...
and you cannot help but admire the beauty.
It's coming closer, faster than anything moved by the wind, and your feeble human eyes suddenly realize...
this is no ember. This is a creature, a wyrm of fire, wriggling it's way through the sky, streaking towards you like a meteor with a brain.
And before you are completly overwhelmed by awe and fear, you see it in all it's majesty.
Are those feathers, or a raging inferno?
Are those scales, or molten steel?
And those eyes... or are they suns? They burn through your skin and expose your imperfect heart.
This being hits the ground in an explosion, and no volcanic eruption could produce ash this hot.
As your skin begins to melt away at the fervernt heat, you wonder, what have you done to endure this hell?
The nerve endings in your body are burned away as you stare into this terrifying creature's face, yet it is so beautiful, you cannot look away.
Your end has come in the guise of a fearsome angel... or is it a demon?
And before you know it....
you're lunch. Well done.

Ok... how's that for sappy descriptions? This was supposed to be a speedpaint, but I spent more time on it than I would have liked.... I guess it looks ok. I think it's tail kinda reminds me of a turkey... but I digress.
