Description
The boy looked through the tinted glass. Across the street, a shabby excuse for a house stared longingly back at him. One window, in particular. The one on the second story with the small crack in the bottom.
“This is going to end poorly.” The boy spoke, not quietly, but not weakly either. He looked at the man in dark suit who sat across from him. An ugly yellow tie, solid in color met his eyes.
The man said nothing , and stared down at the boy, jaw set.
“Very poorly,” the boy repeated, looking back at the window. “People will die. Many people. Me.” He looked at the man when there was no response.
“You.”
The yellow tie man still said nothing, but folded his hands neatly across his lap, and dark set eyes stared at the boy.
Emotionless.
“Yes. If you insist upon this plan of action, this will end badly.” The boy said again, not really afraid. He attempted to put a menacing tone to his voice. “Very badly.”
“Is that what you believe?” The man spoke, solid and sure. “Or is it what you want me to believe?”
The boy smiled, a wicked sort of smile.
“Perhaps a little of both.”
