As far as MLP favorites, I choose all the main six as my favorites, and Big Mac, Soarin', and Braeburn. I really like Big Mac for several reasons. He's such a strong, dependable stallion, but that doesn't mean he's not caring; he has a soft, gentile side. He's not stoic, just reserved. I liked reading the comics featuring Big Mac, but I haven't read the one with Twilight and him yet. I've only read the one when he's trying to find nails during a fair.

Hmm I think it could use a bit of reflected light? Also, looks kinda like your light source is going a bit weird--the shading is opposite on Big Mac and the plow.
Otherwise, very nice. %D Captures Big Mac's gentle side and his hard working side at the same time.

It not meant to be that way. The collar does look thinner on the bottom, but collars can come that way.

Oh, I see what you're saying. This is what I was thinking. The strong sunlight would hit the top of the plow, making a rim light effect. As for the shape, this , this , and this , are examples of the kinds of pictures I would references. The mouldboard, the plow's body, curving inward, not outward.

except you still drew it backwards, even in your references ou can see that it is going the wrong way, the bend should be facing the horse not pointing away, the way you have it soil would catch into the center and not allow it to be pulled

Nice work. Just watched your speedpaint of it too. Was this the first time painting in MangaStudio? How does it compare to Photoshop?

Thanks! Actually, it was my second time (not counting my comics...). Compared to Photoshop, it was a lot easier to get what I wanted. I didn't have to fiddle with the brushes a lot. Not that I couldn't have added or changed brushes though. It went very smoothly. I didn't have to fight the brushes at all.
And I plan too!
