Description Citroen have been taking their fantastic looking concept car, GT by Citroen, to a number of motor shows of late. At Geneva this year, however, it was replaced by a couple of concepts that shared some of the design cues of the GT, but going in some different directions.

The Survolt, pictured here, was more of an out and out sports car, with some distinct GT cues about it, particularly those front wings, but a little more conventional than the extreme exotic nature of the GT. I quite liked the detailing on it, as well as the overall design. Oh, it's got an alll-electric powertrain as well, according to the press release.

In the background, you can see a part of the other concept Citroen were showing, the Revolte, which is the purple vehicle in the background to the left. It was designed to be more of a luxury celebrity-mobile. I much preferred the Survolt, but both were getting a significant amount of interest from the attending crowds.

Full version is downloadable if you like it. I hope you do!

What I like best about the Survolt is it still looks very aggressive even though it's so round. Most of the meaner looking cars have sever angles to them, like the Lamborghini Reventon

Yeah, that's one of the great things about this latest round of Citroen concepts - they prove that round can be sporty and aggressive too. Sometimes I think that there's too much emphasis on angles and points on some cars.

Thanks for the comment and !

I want to drive that car! It is mean, insane and definitely a head turner. It has a real presence but somehow I have a nagging feeling that if they produce a version for general sale it will be toned down so much.

Yeah, I know. I have to say, I don't think this one will make it to market, but then, they said that about the GT by Citroen, and the response to it was so positive that they are now intending to make a limited number. So you never know!

Now, to plan that lottery win that will make it affordable!!

The French always do seem to make the most insane looking concept cars, don't they? I really like the look of the Survolt too, it looks like great fun. I love the touch of those red accents. Great photo!

Well, they've sure had some weird and wonderful ones of late. I wish I had a better photograph of the other car on this stand, the Revolte, and the weirdo interior especially. This one is pretty nice, though!

I was glad to see the shots I did of the Revolte but yeah, especially the interior would've been neat to see more of from what you describe. Hard when it's being mobbed by so many people though!
