So, how do I express my love for a new, relatively unknown fictional character? Bastardise her and draw Trump-inspired memes of her.
As a big fan of Flamedramon, Veemon Renamon and Undyne, I absolutely dig Merga's design; with her 'DoomPope' helmet profile, digitigrade-style legs, large forearms, purple fashion choice and aquatic appearance. And that's just scratching the surface of what I see in her that triggers my inner nerdgasms. Freedom Planet 2 is coming next year and Merga's gonna make Avalice Great Again.

Sorry for the low resolution. My right hand scaphoid has had some surgery done on it recently, so I've doing my drawings on A4-sized canvases with a lined paper template. I've been using these to practice my handwriting and tablet skills with my left hand for almost two months like this. The drawings are done on the 'squared' off section to the left, so they don't get in the way of writing, albeit at the expense of their quality. The Merga drawing was really more of an impromptu sketch if anything. Seeing how there was a picture of a 'Mexican Lilac' circulating, it was only appropriate that I put the two together.
