This took longer than it should have... And I still feel as though it's not finished! Anyways, if you can find the symbolism in this picture (It's kinda difficult...) God bless you.
I tried to make this like a storybook illustration. Drawing the people were kind of hard since they're so tiny. I originally wanted to make the people furries/anthros, but that didn't work sadly.
Done in watercolor and pen and ink.

Huh, the words "Land o Runaways" just popped into my head.
Sorry this didn't work out the way you wanted it to, but having them in pajamas is actually pretty cute and intriguing. Like, this shouldn't be happening. It's odd and actually makes me want to know the story behind it. Good job?

Ah, the story behind is more of a theme. The kids are in costume to show that animals are people as well and they are supposed to be running away from the pollution in the background. At least, that's what I was getting at. There's probably a few other ways to interpret this picture.
