if what you're trying to ask is "can you add backgrounds?" then the answer is yes, i can, but since it is a core-member feature and i'm a non-core-member i will not be able to test to see if the backgrounds will work (i can test it on a journal post but non-core journal skins/codes differ from the codes used in widgets)
