Rhydon! The Pokemon that started everything out! The first Pokemon ever made by Ken and Satoshi! :'DI was watching Cartoonblocks video the other day, and in that video, Evan had filmed a guy at comic con named Long Vo. He used this very sketchy style of drawing and this Pilot Brush pen pen for inking. It looked very cool so I decided to go grab one for myself! :3
For the sketchy look, I tried to be very limited with my pallette and not do any blending. Rough and steady shadows!

Random pen for sketching
Printer paper

Long Vo has been around since last year on Cartoonblocks channel.. he did a Ryu and a few others already. Most of the pro's appearing now, Cartoonblock just brought back. Just type in "Long Vo" in his channel and you'll see all the vids. He got like 6 of them

im not surprised... apparently once you get in the industry, because its a small industry, you tend to know everyone eventually. And things like comic con makes networking even more efficient when you're a pro

Lol I like to think Twime777 will work at nintendo one day. I think she has both the skills and credentials. I'd love to see that. She's also already creating her own pokemon all the time

Yeah, Twime's art is really impressing. She has really mastered the Sugimori style. And I really love how she creates a backstory for every pokemon she does. Like the latest one, the evolution of Sharpedo, and how it attacked boats and what not!
