This is the Pokemon embodiment of Danny DeVito.

Right? It's actually an overflowing bag of trash with eyes. But I guess if you slap big cross eyes, bunny ears, and a goofy mouth on anything, it'll be cuteΒ Β

Depends on what you mean by sad. Unfeeling with the desire for emotions? Probably a 9. Actual sadness though... ehhh 3 at bestΒ Β
Edit:Β Sorry, you probably weren't asking for something so real +_+

as for myself, i am an existential nihilist, which keeps me...
going with a smile on my face every day, actually
now let's see how crazy this conversation can get

Pft who isn't an existential nihilist these days. We have access to so much information and philosophy is so readily accessible that it's hard not to gaze into the void and see nothing... especially when that void is shoved in our faces every day lol.
Yes, I know existential nihilism still isn't REALLY part of the zeitgeist, but it's quickly gaining traction

most of those people are just putzes that throw their universe away and are just assholes or depressing or both because it's 'cool' or some shit. give me an ubermensch, i don't wanna hear about any yolo millennial person thingΒ
also lots of people still have this thing called religion that keeps them from gazing too deep into the abyss (or indeed keeps them far away from the abyss to even consider that there is one), but that seems to be losing traction in this day and age
but the important question to ask is how are you making small text in these comments?!

Most important first: do you know HTML? It's just the sub tag, so this is tiny. You can nest the tags to make it smaller and smaller. You can also replace sub with sup to make it closer to the top (subscript and superscript). Various other tags also work (b for bold, i for italic, s for strikethrough, etc.) Have fun!
I think "putzes" are still part of this category though. You don't have to think hard about the implications of a meaningless existence to believe that there is no meaning. You just have to believe, which usually means (as you mentioned) not being religious.
I don't think there's anything wrong with religion though. If existence is meaningless anyway, there's no difference between convincing yourself there IS meaning and trying to fathom the depths of the human condition. The same end awaits us both.

I haven't touched HTML since I was 7... BANANA oh shit dawg
The putzes are, sadly, the people who are boarding the nihilistic bandwagon in this day and age, so there's no disagreement. I personally find existence is more fulfilling when you feel free to set your own goals and expectations (except solipsism objectively sucks) rather than subscribing to a religion, which usually hands you (especially if you were raised in a religious family) a moral, philosophical, and existential foundation to follow (though your mileage may vary, some foundations are stronger than others).Β I don't see a problem with religion in and of itself, it's just not for everyone.

Ah, glad you got it to work. And I agree with the freedom thing, it just comes at a cost I think. We're "wired" to look for meaning, so removing that most basic instinct kinda... makes things suck lol. Your entire existence, happiness, motivation... everything, is now on your shoulders.
