Shreya called me right when the credits for Crisis Core were rolling. We talked a bit. Suddenly... an FMV!

"Crap! Shreya, shut up! I just beat a game and there's a final movie playing! I need to watch this!"

Shreya, having never played a video game beyond, possibly, karaoke DDR, could not grasp the gravity of the situation.

"Did you just tell me to shut up? I call you when I'm in the middle of homework and you tell me to shut up? Well, fine! I don't want to talk to you while you're playing a game anyways! Bye!"

"What the hell are you talking about? Just wait for five seconds! The final FMV won't last long!"

"I see! Your game is more precious than me! Fine! I'm leaving!"

I get pissed off, not understanding why Shreya is so pissed off in the first place, and exasperated that she doesn't understand how important the final FMV is... So we end up arguing and I end up missing most of the final FMV.

Extremely depressed, and not finding comfort in Shreya, I call Alex who, not surprisingly, fails to pick up as the call was made at midnight.

The next day we talk. I, finding great comfort in knowing someone understands. Not being able to find solace after talking for nearly 40 minutes, Alex suggests drawing a picture to ease my pain.

I am skeptic at first but in the end I realized, being an artist, there is no more perfect way for me to translate my anguish than into art.

After struggling with my roommates really shitty 3-in-1 printer, having to spruce up the image through Microsoft Vista's image viewer and adjusting the resolution via imageshack due to lack of art program... I am finally able to share my pain with the world.

But yeah. If the game was lacking anything, it was this scene.

Seriously.
