Oh, thank you very much; you have no idea how much your comment has encouraged me! After New Years it felt like my life exploded and I was so busy and stressed with school, and it hasn't lightened up one bit this summer. There are so many times I've wanted to sit down and write but either I don't have the time or motivation. But never have I wanted to give it up. I am planning on finishing it around Christmas (hopefully

I am sorry this is late, first off!
Secondly, I understand how you see this quote, but when I first saw it, I thought it had to do with suicide prevention. Basically, I thought of it as: if you give up on life, you won't be remembered for the good things that you could do for the world.
I am not saying it's not good though, because it is. I just wanted to share my view on it.

That's why we should never quit. However, it's a good idea to change the way we fight sometimes.

Yes, I fully agree.
For some crazy example: if what you're doing will kill someone, stop (unless it was someone,oh, I don't know, Hitler )
But even sometimes giving up proves you're strong. Willing to let go when others won't. It all depend on the situation.
