Yes, Sooty looks like a formidable opponent. He'd be a good candidate for the Puss-in-boots character, if you could sew him a little costume and get him a little sword.
Are they all living with you then?

Yeah, these two are the little ones just given to me by a random woman back in February/March; I couldn't resist, and I'm allowed to keep them. They've grown so much since! They used to be smaller than hand size- I think I have some good photos of them when they were that small in my Gallery- and they would so easily fall asleep in your palm. (Or my pocket.)

Jeez, they must have been taken away from their mother at a very early age, then...like maybe before their eyes were open. I'll check your gallery, yes.

They were much too young. I pitied the little things, they really could have done with staying with their mother. Even though we really were as motherly as we could be to them (constant affection and playing, showing them how to do things, feeding and nurturing) they looked so out of place, two little tiny scraps of fur hobbling around, tripping over (bless C: ) and crying for the mother cat. I guess the good thing is it hasn't seemed to have affected them in a negative way, they're so playful, and just so generically... KITTEN LIKE! They show me so much affection, it really feels odd. When I'm sitting down or sleeping on the sofa, they take one look at you, make a strange BBREEEE! sound, and they just jump on your chest and nuzzle you and lick you and everything. My ear even gets suckled by Sooty... He's so silly sometimes. C: It's the sort of behaviour I used to get from Baxter, a very old tabby cat who died a few years ago. He was born before me, and we grew up together. He was the soppiest, most loving cat you could imagine, but the kittens are doing what he did. I like it- it's nice to feel loved by an animal.

Oh yes, I checked the link to your journal. That was an interesting story. Do you still serve papers on weekends.
Baxter sounds like he was delightful. I agree, it's nice to feel loved by an animal. It's just wonderful, you're right. My God, we have five dogs and three cats...last time I checked, and I think of them as people, too.
I really like the way cats make over us, too. They seem so sensual, especially for their acknowledged cool exteriors...and they need us so remarkably, but have made us feel like it is we who need them. lol
I really think most people need their pets, and rightly so. They give affection and companionship, too.
Rose, I'm woefully behind at studying your gallery, which I will do soon, promise.
This pet connection is cool. I'm still looking for that blog link.
