Tralalalalaaaaaa <333 So happy I got this dooooneeeeee! I started like 2 and a half weeks ago but got caught up in family issssuuuueeeesss. Why cant i be adopted by a family of intelligent fish people.But now I'm hyped on mint chocolate cookies so its fine.
I happen to be randomly inspired by a song on my playlist that allways made me think of the poor Dib, allways so alone he could really use some kind of support. So this is what it looks like to feel Dib emotions?... Idk man..
Originally going to be black and white but that blue-ish purpley grey color I used as a temp background stuck really bad.. Couldn't pry it off.
I am ruining the mood so hardcore.

It surprises me that Dib don't believe himself to be crazy, since no one else believe him and everybody calls him crazy. It's almost that you think that Zim, Gir and the irkens really just are illusions of Dib's mind. I would think so if Dib were the main character instead of Zim Β

Ikr, especially when the other classmates and people seem to completely ignore Zims existence at times. Even if that is only for comedy sake it would make for a very interesting twist for the reality to be that these events never really took place... Poor Insane Dib.

I kinda wish that this was the case now, it would make the show so much deeper and darker, buuut it would also mean that Zim would not exist in the IZ universe so nope, I rather keep the little alien than have a awesome mind twist

I really love this piece! Maybe I'm looking too deeply into it but it's like his broken and shattered glasses show his weakness primarily through his weak eyesight. And it's like his trench coat slowly transforms into the cloud of looming loneliness he experiences on a daily basis. It really conveys the title in my opinion.

It makes me really happy you can translate it into your own understanding. I enjoy drawing images like this where I can just go all out to attempt an emotion, glad others enjoy seeing it aswell. ^v^
