He's beautiful...what more can be said, so innocent and yet he seems to have implicit trust in his handler...I would love to see this bird in his actual colors, if these are not them, just so that I can know what species he is, unless you know ^_^ You have composed this quite well also, your choice in keeping the bird off center and your hands and arms not evenly framed was a good choice, very nice indeed...I think perhaps if you had kept the color in the hands and arms of the handler and the background black, it might have had an interesting warming effect...moreover, perhaps if you could make the parts of the hand and arm nearest the bird colorized, it might also create an effect of the radiating life that this "offering" is possessive of...one way or another, this is a beautiful shot, wonderfully composed from a great idea, nice job

I know this is gonna sound weird, but the last three fave i have added have been yours. This is no different. Except that this is by far the most PERFECT wallpaper I have seen in a long time. no doubt. I am faving this and giving it to my mom who loves birds, to use as her desktop. Thanks in advance, she will be thrilled. I also will like a print if it stays available til i can afford it.

at first the bird looked stuffed...... and then I clicked on the Free Spirit link and it HAS to be real.. no stuffed bird would 1. change its position and 2. stand on just one finger.. GREAT job, I love both of them..

I really like how the emphasis (sp??) is on the bird and how the hand are sort of cradling it. Nice work...i am soo going to think about buying this...

Agreed with encore, I like the positioning of the hands more than the others in this series. Gives much more innocent and nurturing connotations. The bird's head is just a little bit too blurry for my liking though.
Either way I love this image

I'm going to have to agree with the comments here. I actually like this one better then the other one as well. This one, having everything the other has so far as technical skill is concerned, also posses a sense of care. The cradling of the bird makes me think that it's not only being held but also protected. There seems to be more emotion in this one.
Bravo on both. +fav for this one because of it's emotional value.

actually I like this one better than the other one, because of the beautiful pose the hands are in, an almost religious pose; and the way the bird seems to be staring so sweetly at the person. it's absolutely charming and relaxing.

Wow, that has to be the most beautiful thing I've seen yet today....I love how radiant the bird looks while everything else is black and white...It really draws attention to the bird, showing it off...
