Description
This Sunday on Mother's Day my sister Rosetta, 10 years my senior passed away. I never really talked about before but she was suffering from brain cancer and complications that resulted from the surgery that resulted from it. For the past two years I knew this day would come, she had been put on hospice recently. I'm no stranger to loss but it still hurts. I find myself doing things to not dwell on it. I know if sit around doing nothing I will be more stress on myself. My mother at least on the outside is taking it better than I thought she would she's been doing what needs to be done. I feel for my niece I can only imagine what's she going through. My great nieces are too young to understand what's going but they'll never really get to know her. I did this piece to symbolize my loss. Now character wise I'm not killing off Brianna but I felt the my characters being family are my best way of showing my emotion. As always I will continue to post my work as regularly as I can, and try to keep up with commenting on the amazing artists that I follow here.
