(Halo vs Metroid)Connections : Space warriors who seemingly always wear an iconic set of armor. Both lost their parents at a young age. They eventually joined a military organization, and became super soldiers (Samus was empowered by Chozo DNA, Master Chief by Spartan augmentation). They defeated evil aliens and a virus in their battles for galactic peace. Both have a very large variety of weapons. Haloid, an animation of Samus vs. Master Chief, inspired Death Battle.
