(The World Ends With You vs Guilty Gear)Connections : Bubbly, cheerful and happy-go-lucky individuals forced to dawn a false appearance due to bad circumstances (Bridget being raised under the guise of a girl due to superstition in her village regarding male twins, Shiki taking on her friend Eri's appearance as a toll for entering the Reaper's Game) who are troubled with issues with their identity and a strong feeling of hopelessness (Bridget even after trying to prove her town’s superstition false still feeling listless and unfulfilled on what she really wanted out of life, Shiki feeling inadequate and even depressed because of Eri, whom she believed had everything she didn’t) before they eventually come to terms with who they are and accepting their own identities with the help and encouragement of the friends they made along the way (Bridget overcoming her unease brought from trying to be manly and accepting herself as a female with Ky and Goldlewis' help, Shiki accepting what makes her special and being content with her own identity instead of simply pretending to be who she isn’t with help from Neku and the gang). Both also fight in combat primarily with stuffed animals (Roger and Mr.Mew).
