I suck at drawing cats so it's a pretty generic cat silhouette. It's fine though, I decided all the chapter art will be relatively simple, as a rule.

I like how this looks already! It's definitely look a quite a bit more polished, and that's a great place to start.
I would just like to point a few things out, though. (No biggie... just things I'd like to point out for a lot of people.)
1. Black looks great. Red looks great. Red on black, not so much. Pure tone red and basic matte black are both visually saturating so it's actually not quite as visually striking as you might anticipate. If you like the red-on-black look, you might want to choose a brighter red.
2. Try really hard not to use pure tone blue and pure tone red together, too. These two are so visually diametrically opposed to each other that they have a tendency to fatigue the colour receptors in the eyes. This causes the colours to appear to be pulsating. That's an uncomfortable feeling for most people. If you pair pure tone black and white together, the effects are similar, too. But now that you know how it works, sometimes you can use that effect to temporarily cause people to feel uneasy. But it's a powerful weapon, so don't use it often!
3. ... is it just me or does the cat really have whiskers? If he does... they are way too thin. Can't see them very well!
