The colorist pulled back just enough to have your wonderful lineart still visible and still be able to render and add depth [HA!' in color. That's a smart and talented girl/ guy in my book.

Aside from the colouring and linework, I really love the concept behind this piece; how she seems like she's sitting in a terrestrial landscape rather than an aquatic one. Very cool.

Wonderful piece and beautifully coloured.
I just had to say, Michael Turner inspired me profoundly in my late teens with his work and figure style. He inspired me to take a huge leap forward in my own drawing and his art continually inspires me today. This is a fitting tribute and the thoughtful pose is perfect.
