Description
This is a progress shot of another commission that is going to a park near Denver, CO.It ended up being a little bigger than I had planned, but that's fine...they'll get their money's worth...ha ha.
The original proposal was for it to wear shoes...the reason being that the park it was proposed for, was donated by a family of cobblers.
This is a link to the maquette that I brought to the presentation meeting.

The art council picked something else for that project but really wanted to find a place for the caterpillar when they had more money in their budget.
Sure enough, they voted it in and this is my progress thus far.
It's going to be 4 feet long, approx. 27 inches wide and 36 inches tall.
Should be fun for kids to play on.
Hope you all like it!

Thanks Ben!
Yeah, this one took them a while to get approved.
I was almost glad it took them a bit so I could work on the other big pieces that go to Kauai...
