Description
This was a piece that I finished a while back but then I thought it needed something more than just these two pieces on a wood base. So I sculpted a base so I could raise the knight up to the eye level of the dragon. I threw in some burn marks and a charred tree for good measure. I like it a lot more now. Sorry for the poor picture but I didn't have time to set it up for a more professional picture. Will try to do that soon.

The base really brings everything nicely together, makes it more complete. These two have such great chemistry. A cooking sort of chemistry. Where one becomes nice and crispy.

Ah what a cool and funny piece!! I love the burnt smoke too, it tells you what just happened to that smoldering tree stump and the ashy knight haha. From the preview pic I almost thought it was an incense holder/burner and that you placed the stick on the knight or something (thus the dragon is burning the stick heh). Nice to see the final thing all done too I recall the dragon as a wip a while ago and never saw the knight or the rest of the scene until now.

That's too funny because I was thinking of making it an incense burner when I was sculpting it.
I'm really glad I added the extra base...There was something boring about the original pieces so I brought the knight up to
the dragons eye level and it seemed to make all the difference I needed.
