Description 8X10 Pen & Ink Sketch with Pastels on #140 Strathmore water color paper: I am now going over all the random photos I shot last year looking for shadows to paint. My wife thinks this is gross, but I do love those mottled shadows. I miss those hot days!

My secret dust is a 12 set Artist Quality Grumbacker "Golden Palette" Pastels. They come in small square sticks that break to clean sharp edges.

No they are really smaller square sticks.
