hey, uhm.. Not really!
I use Adobe Illustrator.
So I get a photo place it into the canvas and then use the pen tool and go around shapes and colour them, making different layers for each detail as I go.
It's a bit painstakingly time consuming but definitely worth it. I actually really love illustrator now.
