The clouds and sunset were so amazing a couple of nights ago.. it's not the greatest shot of mine but i love the colours.. YES COLOURS
thought i'd give you all a change from my black and white .. for a little while anyway

Just about those powerlines, i think that in this image they provide a very important reference point in an image that would, without the powerlines, seem abstract and semi-detatched from reality.

And yeah, the power lines had to be there to break up the shot, or else the viewers would be too overwhelmed by the complete and total awesomeness of your photography... ^^

But it's winter here, so no need to worry about them! Snow is the only thing, but that's not scary! xD

pretty colours. in photo today, we were talking about this artist, (funny enough, van gogh) who had all these strong beliefs in colour, that there was a deeply spiritual essence to colour. different types of colours represented different things, feelings and emotions. i think that light, which not only is beautiful in itself, but allows us to see things and open doors to amazing experiences and ideas. i think kids have every right to be afraid of the dark (even though, i do think the dark is pretty also), all they want to see are the vivid colours they see everywhere.
/i think i was living under a rock a few nights back, it seems that everyone got a shot but me.

i had to help dad bring in the washing as it was starting to rain, and it was the most beautiful thing you have ever seen.. there was high clouds that the sunset light was bouncing off.. then there was low clouds blocking out the actual sunset, but then whenever there was a gap in the low clouds, the light from the sunset was bouncing through them..
would have made some AMAZING photos.. i just wish i was out shooting, not bringing clothes off the line
